An explanation of how UV Waterworks Filtration

Mar 18
2010

Detailed knowledge of biology, physics and chemistry necessary to understand the basics of how an ultraviolet light water filter functions. The technology for UV-light water had begun long ago. However, the scientific principles on which the disinfection is carried out using UV-based light, a certain degree of complexity of them. For a period of more than a century, the concept for cleaningExperts from drinking water using ultraviolet light water filter already has.

The fact that hazardous micro-organisms from the water, and a light coming on can be described in a tube to be hard for those with little experience in science to understand, since a significant number of consumers are clean. Representatives who are knowledgeable, can not adequately provide information and lead to the identification of false information to the consumer.

EvenDrinking water is possible in a way that is clean and relatively low cost will be very effective through the use of water filters ultraviolet light, can lead to lack of misinformation acceptance by consumers. This is unfortunate because the scientific principles on which they are based on ultraviolet light water filters are not difficult to understand for the consumer, although not on the surface easily.

The electromagnetic spectrum, the wavelengths of light, thefound between X-rays and visible light known as ultraviolet light. UV-A, UV-B and UV-C are the three sub-categories that ultraviolet light can be divided. Since man is a burn or a tan for the first two types of wavelengths of ultraviolet light to obtain, these are better known as the Third Kind. The type of UV light is likely to cause maximum damage, however, is the third type. In the UV light water filter, isThis third type of UV light is used.

UV-C is a type of light, can be very harmful, and powerful, as mentioned above. DNA of an organism can be damaged and may be the penetration of light, especially when the wavelength of light and UV-C 254nanometer exposure of a living cell to arise. Inside all the cells are still alive, are all measures that address the deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA.

Tocan work properly, has the DNA of all cells intact. A ladder-type spiral is what the DNA structure of s appears to be. You can also say, like a twisted ladder, when asked at both ends. Since all but two molecules of DNA, another term used to refer to it involves, "Double Helix". Connection points can be said, similar to the steps of the staircase and its sites on the molecule.

DNA can be attacked and penetrated into the cellUV-C light. A few steps of the scale of DNA are fused together, really light. Each line is divided and the heads went down, how DNA is replicated. DNA replication can not happen, not how they work, the protein that is intended to be, can be shared during the process properly, because of the merger of sprouts more effect on profit of UV light-C. For this reason, the cell can not reproduce. In this way, viruses orBacterial cells are capable of causing infection and thus disease.

Ultraviolet light water filters of various sizes, are produced by manufacturers of such filters, since the velocity of flow of water can be different and may require different size filters under various conditions. You need a UV light longer for a higher rate of flow. An appropriate dose of UV light can be applied in this way.

Gastrointestinal Issues – The #2 Cause of Hospitalization

Mar 11
2010

Thank goodness birthing babies is the #1 cause for hospital stays. But think of this….when we are born we get dealt a hand of cards- our DNA and RNA. This is our inherited genetic strengths and weaknesses. Does having a weakness mean we will manifest that “inherited” disease? NO! It absolutely does not- not if we “play our cards right”. What we need to do is to make certain that the nutrients and support needed for that weak aspect are provided so that degeneration in those areas does not occur.

Nutrients are needed by our bodies to complete a complex set of metabolic processes from digestion to hormone and neurotransmitter production. If any of the parts, or raw materials, is missing, the process cannot be properly completed. If one ingredient is missing, a substitute molecule may be grabbed from a cell next door, it may even be taken from the gene itself, allowing for potential replication of an inferior cell. Our DNA and RNA protein synthesis within each cell plays a critical role in determining whether a weak gene will actually result in manifesting a “genetic” disease.

A proper level of nutrients is necessary for completing the complex cascade of metabolic processes of life. This is why as an example, a deficiency in sulfur is linked to not only liver detoxification issues- which impacts a host of hormone and metabolic processes but also joint and skin issues. The broad reach of this one element is why doubters do not understand why nutrition can impact so many seemingly unrelated health issues.

Something we in America hate to even think about is our digestive system. While we bombard our system with fast food, sugar, and artificial sweeteners we wonder why we develop Candida overgrowth, heartburn, and food allergies. We take for granted that we are able to digest anything that is called “food”. Well, some of us can’t, and some of what we eat should not be called “food”. We need enzymes to digest our food and our continued production of adequate digestive enzymes depends on how well we have selected our foods AND it depends on how well we have preserved the good flora and fauna of the digestive tract in the first place.

Ancient Egyptians believed that death begins in the gut. 100 years ago a Russian microbiologist, Ilya Metchnikov, the Nobel Prize winner who discovered phagocytes, studied also the relationship between “good” bacteria in the intestines and health. Ilya theorized, and it has been shown true, that the promotion of “good” bacteria suppresses the growth of the “bad” bacteria. Trouble is, we have moved away from those basic digestion/nutrition oriented health concepts and toward more chemical oriented methods for farming and health treatments.

What IS our digestive system? Well – It actually starts in the mouth where our teeth and saliva begin to break down the complex food particles and animal tissues into digestible chunks… remember Aunt Alice saying chew your food 20 times before you swallow? Well, most of us don’t do that. Next, the acids and digestive enzymes in the stomach break the food into even smaller particles. The goal is to break food into small peptides that can enter the cells. Some of us lag behind in enzyme production. And some of us actually inhibit our digestion with antacids. What we probably need instead of antacids is enzymes!

Our digestive tract is lined (or should be) with a growth layer of good bacteria that aid digestion and immune function, and are the main producers of some of our mood enhancing B type vitamins. We destroy these with antibiotics, pesticides, stress, and inadequate diet.

What can we do about it? Well, if you are fairly healthy with no major issues, you may wish to increase you consumption of yogurt and low glycemic fruits which will enhance the growth of good flora (not the sugar laden fruit yogurts- try plain yogurt with fruit mixed in – if you need sweeteners- try honey or dark brown sugar or real maple syrup. You can even make your own yogurt!) Increase fiber intake, eliminate junk foods and fatty or processed foods. What we are trying to do here is create an environment that will encourage the growth of the friendlies while eliminating the chemicals that destroy them.

If the population of friendly bacteria is too low, one of the things we can have occurring is “Leaky Gut” Syndrome. This is where the food particles have not been digested into small enough particles for cellular use but have managed to slip through the intestinal wall anyway (due to inadequate good guys standing guard along the walls.) The large particles are seen as invaders and the immune system goes to work causing a wide array of potential symptoms ranging from head or muscle aches, to behavior and mood issues, rashes and more. These are “food allergies” but all too often the connection between the symptom and the cause is never made because the allergic response is typically slow …known as Immunoglobulin G responses…they may occur 4 hours to several days after a substance has been ingested. Sometimes the “food allergy” is given a diagnostic name and treated with a drug to handle that symptom (i.e. the headache, rash, or mood swing.)

If allowed to continue, these gastrointestinal issues can become chronic and a doctor can give them other names such as: Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gastric Ulcer, Diverticulosis, Intestinal Obstruction, Diminished Peristalsis, Hyper motility of the small intestine, low stomach acid, Celiac Disease (an autoimmune disease) to name a few. I actually knew a beautiful 26 year old diagnosed with “Chronic Ulcerative Colitis”– her Drs wanted to operate on her leaving her to wear a colostomy bag for the remainder of her life. The course she chose was to heal her gut and learn how to prevent the issue that could have left her psyche very damaged. She is now caring for and teaching others the importance of gut health.

Indican is a by-product of food putrefaction and amino acid breakdown and high levels are associated with low digestive ability and may indicate high levels of other digestive by-products that may aggravate other conditions or put unnecessary stress on the immune system (these large particle will be seen as invaders.) A functional metabolic test looking for urinary indican levels can help you take steps to prevent you from experiencing the number 2 reason for hospitalization.

Is it Health or Death that begins in the colon – You get to choose!

With Gastro Intestinal issues as the number 2 cause of hospitalizations – and nearly 200,000 hospital deaths annually from in-hospital errors, don’t you owe it to yourself to find out more?

Production of Amino Acids

Mar 10
2010

DNA in our body contains genetic information that is used for the development of other cells like RNA molecules and proteins. The nitrogenous bases on the DNA code for and correspond to amino acids. DNA replicates itself during replication, which occurs in the nucleus of the cell during cell division. The next step for protein production is transcription in which parts of DNA are transcribed into RNA with the help of the enzyme RNA synthase. The final step occurs outside of the nucleus in which the single strand of RNA moves through the cell cytoplasm and reaches the ribosome. The ribosome reads the sequence of nitrogenous bases and produces amino acids. Each amino acid is produced individually and then are attached to each other through dehydration synthesis until they form an adequate polypeptide chain. The polypeptide chain then goes on to affect the phenotype of the individual and the process from DNA to phenotype is completed.

Muscadine Grape Seed – Storehouse of Healing Powers

Mar 08
2010

Muscadine Grapes also known by their botanical name Vitis vinifera have been associated with a paramount of medicinal properties for thousands of years. The Muscadine grapes have their roots of birth in the United States. These grapes are better known as the America’s hidden powerhouse because of its ability to deliver instant energy. Apart from being the much savored variety of natural pearl bunches of fruit it is also vastly consumed in the world in the form of seeds. Ancient Europeans produced ointments derived from the sap of the grapevines to treat skin and eye diseases.

Muscadine leaves also were used to stop bleeding, inflammation and pains such as the ones associated with hemorrhoids. Raw forms of grapes were used to treat sore throats and raisins (dried form of grapes) were used to treat constipation and to quench thirst. These grapes were also used to heal a wide range of diseases that included cancer, cholera, smallpox, nausea, eye infections and skin, kidney and liver diseases.

Amongst all the other parts of the grape that have umpteen medicinal properties the grape seeds are one of the greatest source of antioxidants known as oligomeric proanthocyanidin complexes (OPCs). They also are characterized by large concentrations of vitamin E, flavonoids and linoleic acid. These antioxidants destroy free radicals that are harmful compounds in the body that damage DNA (Deoxyribose nucleic acid – genetic material) and in certain cases cause cell death. Free radicals are also known to be responsible for aging and a number of other health problems like heart disease and cancer. These OPC’s also promote healthy blood circulation.

Muscadine grape seed extracts are rich in polyphenols that are characterized with high concentrations of antioxidants. Research has shown that OPCs are more powerful antioxidants than vitamin C, E and beta carotene. While vitamin C, E and beta carotene were the only sources of antioxidants before the discovery of OPCs from Muscadine grape seed extracts, they were not as powerful against free radical damage and used to be excreted from the body within a short period of ingestion. Muscadine grape seed extract, on the other hand, is known to remain in the body for as long as 3 days, is 20 times more effective than vitamin C and 50 times stronger than vitamin E.

Following are the benefits of Muscadine grape seed extracts:

- A polyphenolic compound found in the Muscadine grape seed extract is shown to interfere with cancer cell growth and proliferation and also bring about apoptosis (cell death) among a range of potential chemopreventive effects.

- It may also have beneficiary effects against HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) by inhibiting its expression and replication in the host.

- It helps improve cardiovascular health.

- It enhances development of brain, skin and eye health.

- They have anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties.

- Muscadine Grape seed is one of the very few antioxidants that can penetrate the blood brain barrier to prohibit the damage in brain and nerve tissue.

- Some studies have shown grape seed extracts to prevent plaque formation in the arteries.

- It helps improve mental alertness and prevents senility.

- It offers vascular endothelial growth factor thus accelerating wound healing abilities.

- The phenolic compounds present in the seeds may inhibit oral sugar metabolism that suppress the growth of certain bacteria causing dental caries.

- It has shown to considerably reduce malignancy of papillomas and consequently prevent skin cancer.

- They are also known to provide protection against carcinogenesis and have sunscreen properties thus protecting the skin from the harmful ultraviolet (uv) rays.

These are the innumerous benefits of Muscadine grape seed providing a natural supplement to a healthy living.
